Versions: See What is Changed in a Test Case
Track and compare every change made to your test cases with ease.
You can view the changes made to a test case from Versions. Versions let you compare the current version of a test case with any previous version to clearly identify the differences. This article discusses how to view and compare versions in Test Management by Testsigma.
Prerequisites
- Before you begin, ensure you have a test case with multiple modifications.
Interactive Demo
Section titled “Interactive Demo”View Version History
Section titled “View Version History”-
From the Dashboard, go to Test Cases and open any test case.

In the top-right corner, click the History icon to open the Version History overlay.

The Version History list displays:
- All saved versions
- The date of each modification
- The user who made each change
Compare Versions
Section titled “Compare Versions”-
In the Version History overlay, hover over the version you want to compare.

Click the Meatballs Menu, and click Compare with Current. This opens the Comparison Mode page.
💡 Tip: You can also rename a version from the same Meatballs Menu.
- On the Comparison Mode page, you can view the changes between the selected version and the current version.
