Export Test Data


Learn how to export test cases and step groups in Excel format from Test Management by Testsigma.

Testsigma allows you to export test cases and step groups in excel file format, with all the associated information. This feature helps you backup, migrate, or review your test data outside the platform. This document discusses exporting test cases and step groups from Test Management by Testsigma.

Prerequisites

  • Before you begin, ensure you have test cases and step groups available to export.

Export Test Cases

  1. From the Dashboard, click Import Cases to navigate to the Import & Export sections under Project Settings.

    Alternatively, go to Project Settings directly.

  2. In the Export Test Cases & Step Groups widget, click Export.

  3. In the Confirm Export dialog, click Start Export to begin the export process.

  4. Once the export process is completed, a downloadable file will be listed.

  5. Click the Download icon corresponding to the most recent export.

  6. The excel file will be downloaded to your local system for offline access.
