ClickUp Integration with Test Management by Testsigma
Integrate ClickUp with Test Management by Testsigma to seamlessly link defects to ClickUp tasks.
Test Management by Testsigma allows seamless integration with ClickUp, which enables you to link test defects directly to ClickUp tasks. This integration enhances traceability, streamlines defect management, and improves collaboration between QA and development teams.
Prerequisites
- Before you begin, ensure that you have an active ClickUp account with the necessary permissions.
Interactive Demo
Section titled “Interactive Demo”Integrate ClickUp
Section titled “Integrate ClickUp”-
From the Dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations.

Click Setup Integration next to the ClickUp icon. This opens a new tab with the ClickUp Login page.

Log in using valid credentials.

On the Requesting Access page, click Authorize to complete the integration.
Link Defects to ClickUp
Section titled “Link Defects to ClickUp”-
From the Dashboard, go to Test Runs.

Open a test run from the list.

Click the test case to log a defect. This opens the Quick View overlay.

The Atto AI agent automatically fills in the Space, Folder, List, Task Name, and Description fields. If needed, edit the required fields and click Add.

You can either link to an existing ClickUp task or create a new ClickUp task.
Link Defects to an Existing Issue
Section titled “Link Defects to an Existing Issue”-
Open a test case from the test run. This opens the Quick View overlay.

Click Add a Defect.

On the Add a Defect overlay, select ClickUp in the top right corner.

Select the Link to Existing Issue tab.

Choose the ClickUp task you want to link with the defect.

Click Link Tasks to complete the linking.
Link Defects to a New Issue
Section titled “Link Defects to a New Issue”-
Open the test case from the test run. This opens the Quick View overlay.

Click Add a Defect.

On the Add a Defect overlay, select ClickUp in the top right corner.

Select the Create a New Issue tab.

Select the Space, Folder, List, Priority, Assignee, Task Type and Status from the respective dropdowns.

Enter a Task Name and an optional Description.

Click Create Task. The new task will be created in ClickUp and the defect will be linked to it.
